In 2021, Carolina FiberFest will again be at the NC State Fairgrounds in Raleigh, NC. Drawing fiber enthusiasts from the surrounding area and beyond, this family-friendly event features classes, free demonstrations, and shopping for yarn, ready-to-spin fiber, patterns, tools, accessories, and specialty items.
We know these are uncertain times, however we are continuing with our planning for a live event in March 2021. We are also considering alternative options should we still be under COVID-19 restrictions and unable to host a live event.
Carolina FiberFest is a great place to meet others who share your passion for fiber! Meet new and familiar friends while working on your current project. There are plenty of places and opportunities to sit and knit/crochet/spin at Carolina FiberFest.
“Carolina FiberFest is a wonderful opportunity to learn heritage craft skills and to connect with those who are passionate about fiber arts,” says Carolyn Beasley, one of the event founders. “It’s exciting to see the heightened popularity of handmade goods. Kids to teens to adults enjoy spinning, knitting, crocheting, weaving, felting and other activities.”
The Carolina FiberFest Craft-Along for 2021 is in the works.
You can still knit or crochet
any of our past craft-along patterns and join in the fun!
